Prof. Simon Broadley BSc, MBChB, PhD, FRACP

Professor Broadley has been researching the causes and treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS) and the related disorder neuromyelitis optica (NMO) for 20 years. He has undertaken work that has contributed to the familial link between MS and other autoimmune diseases, the genes that cause MS and the impact of a number of environmental factors on the disease. He has been a principal investigator on several clinical trials of highly effective therapies for MS. He is the Chair of the NMO Australia and New Zealand Collaboration and is the Chair of MS Neurology (ANZAN)
