Dr Todd Hardy is a Staff Specialist Neurologist at Concord Hospital, Sydney, Australia, Clinical Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Sydney and Co-Director of the MS Clinic at the Brain and Mind Centre.
His main research interests are in the field of neuroimmunology, especially multiple sclerosis, atypical forms of demyelination, and Susac’s syndrome. He is Co-Chair of the NSW MS Clinical Trials Network and a Principal Investigator on a number of MS clinical trials.
He trained in neurology in Sydney and at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London, where he also worked as a consultant neurologist in the department of neuroinflammation.
He is currently Co-Chair of Neurosciences teaching in the medical program at Sydney Medical School, and Co-Editor of Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation. He has co-authored publications in a number of journals including the Lancet, Lancet Neurology, Nature Genetics and Brain.
