A/Prof. Deborah Young PhD

Assoc. Prof. Deborah Young leads the Molecular Neurotherapeutics lab at the Centre for Brain Research at The University of Auckland. Her research interests include the development and application of adeno-associated viral (AAV) vector technologies for use in gene therapy strategies for neurodegenerative disorders. Other research interests include the development of immunotherapies that promote cognitive function and the resilience of the brain to insult.
